🚨 Addiction Football Is Evolving – And I Need YOU!

Addiction Football was perfect for the lifestyle I lived over the past few years. I was a full-time traveller — or if you still have the energy to say it: a digital nomad. Stadium-hopping across countries, documenting matchday chaos, and living off vibes, drone batteries, and hostel toast.

But now?

The future I’m building for myself doesn’t align with that much international travel anymore — and that means Addiction Football needs to grow and evolve.

And no, that’s not a bad thing.
Quite the opposite:

I don’t want to create less — I want to create more. But I can’t do it alone anymore.

âš˝ Enter: You.

Are you a football vlogger — or want to be a football vlogger?
Do you know someone who fits that description?
Send them this post. Seriously. Right now.

I’m turning Addiction Football into a community project — something that captures the raw energy of football culture around the world. Think real fans, real stadiums, real stories — no corporate filter, no tourist fluff. Just the beautiful game, as experienced from the terraces.

🎥 Who I’m Looking For:

If you:

  • Own a good 4K vlogging camera

  • Have a drone that can shoot 4K footage

  • Have a genuine love for the beautiful game

  • Know your way around filming a matchday experience

  • Can bring your own local voice to stadiums in your country or region

Then you might be a perfect fit.

👀 What’s the Deal?

I’m not looking to micromanage anyone. I’m building a global team — people who can film matches locally, capture the vibe, and send it back to HQ (that’s me), where I’ll take care of editing, publishing, and promotion.

You’ll get:

  • Credit on the Addiction Football channel

  • Links to your own socials or YouTube

  • Mentoring/support if you’re just getting started

  • Early access to new projects

  • Potential to earn from affiliate links and drone/stadium print sales

  • A foot in the door to grow your presence in the football creator world

This is your chance to be part of something that’s already covered matches in Brazil, the US, Mexico, Germany, Wales, Austria… and counting.

📝 How to Apply:

Email me at addictionfootball(at)saschafox.com with:

  • A short intro (who you are + where you're based)

  • Any sample footage (unlisted/private links welcome)

  • What gear you're using (camera, drone, mic, etc.)

  • What clubs or leagues you’re most likely to cover

  • Anything else you feel like sharing

The goal is simple:
More stadiums. More stories. Less burnout.
More beautiful football content — together.

Let’s build something that goes far beyond just one YouTuber with a GoPro.

Welcome to the New Addict10n Football Homepage!

A bit over two years ago, in late May 2023, I was asked if I fancied going to an Atlanta United match — and, well, the rest is history… or so they say.

At that point, I hadn’t set foot in a football stadium as a spectator in over a decade. My season ticket holder days were long behind me, and in 2015, I’d worked the odd shift as a security guard at Stuttgart’s Mercedes-Benz Arena, despite not even living in Germany anymore.

Still, I accepted the invite — and thought: "Hey, I’m a YouTuber anyway… might as well make a video of the matchday experience from a German fan’s point of view." Honestly, it was meant more as a joke than anything serious — my channel was all about motorcycle travel back then.

But that’s life sometimes.

I did what I said I would: filmed a matchday experience at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, where Atlanta United came back from 2–0 down to lead 3–2… only to concede a last-minute equalizer in a 3–3 thriller.

I was hooked.

The matchday madness had crept back into my life. Just two matches later, I found myself pitchside in St. Louis, holding a GoPro, the official team sheet — and actual media credentials in my hand.

Apparently, America still is the land of opportunity.

Unfortunately, the name Matchday Madness was already taken on YouTube… so I went with Addict10n Football — and eventually renamed the entire channel.

Fast forward two years and it’s been one hell of a ride. I’ve filmed football videos in Mexico, Germany, Austria, Wales, the United States, and even Brazil — and met countless amazing people along the way.

And the journey is far from over.

Much more is yet to come on Addict10n Football — stay tuned!

Special Thanks

To the people without whom this journey wouldn’t have been possible:

  • Rebecca – for dragging me to that Atlanta United match that changed the course of everything

  • My mum – for her support through the years

  • My subscribers – especially those I’ve met in person, who showed me around their club and stadium, and those absolute legends who joined the YouTube supporters section for less than a dollar a month. You help me produce more — and better — content.

  • The media teams at the clubs that gave me access and a chance, especially Kurt (Sporting KC) and Hayes (Chattanooga FC)

  • And last but not least… all the failed collaborations and people who didn’t take me seriously:

You taught me a lot — and fueled the fire that’s now burning brighter than ever.

Here’s to new horizons.
